At this time of year many of us give thanks and reflect on what we are grateful for and share gratitude with others. The power, abundance, and life giving force of water is truly one of our most precious resources.


  • Water keeps us hydrated, which keeps us moving and active. About two thirds of our body is water, we need water to survive!
  • Water has the ability to heal! Water is soothing, it calms us and cures us. Many are baptized in water, it’s has a special place in our history.
  • Water helps promote weight loss. It aides in removing the by-products of fat, it fills us up acting as an appetite suppressant and raises our metabolism. There are zero calories!
  • Drinking water helps you focus and concentrate better, making you more alert. This also helps to increase your energy levels. 
  • Water helps us in digestion to maintain regularity.
  • Water flushes out the toxins in our body through sweat and urination which reduces the risk of kidney stones and UTI’s (urinary tract infections).
  • Water improves our skin complexion. It moisturizes our skin, keeps it fresh, soft, glowing and smooth. Gets helps smooth out wrinkles, It’s one of the best kept anti-aging secrets!
  • Drinking plenty of water boosts our immune system, and that helps fight against flu, cancer and other ailments like heart attacks.
  • Water also helps to relieve and prevent headaches which are commonly caused by dehydration.
  • Being near water puts us in a good mood.
