APPLE CINNAMON GINGER WATER - Prepare this drink the night before the big event. Refrigerate overnight. The apples will start to brown a little and the water does get a little cloudy as it chills. To prevent the apples from browning, squeeze fresh lemon juice when slicing.
Add color to your drink, slice up several different kinds of apples such as the Gala apple and a Fuji apple are very sweet. Beyond color, select apples that give your drink the best taste.
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
When ready to serve, add ice cubes to pitcher and stir right before serving or add ice to individual serving glasses and pour your flavored water over the ice. Add seltzer water to make your drink fizz.
ORANGE & ROSEMARY WATER WITH MINT - Rosemary is a leading antioxidant herb and used to ward off colds and infections. It has a calming effect on the stomach. And the compounds in fresh ginger offer powerful cancer-fighting compounds as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Grate spices such as ginger and muddle leafy herbs like rosemary or mint in a tall glass. Fill glass with ice and top with freshly filtered water. Top your glass with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of orange. Delicious.
GINGER LEMON THYME WATER
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Place one teaspoon ginger, one lemon wedge and two sprigs of thyme in each glass. Serve cold.
CUCUMBER FENNEL WATER
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Add fennel to each glass. Serve cold.
CUCUMBER MINT COOLER
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Slice the cucumber and put it in a quart-size mason jar with the mint. Fill with filtered water. Place in fridge for 24 hours (or so), strain and drink within a week.
ORANGE LIME REFRESHER
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Slice Orange and Lime. Put in a quart-size mason jar and fill with filtered water. Place in fridge for 24 hours (or so), strain and drink within a week.
LEMON GINGER SPRITZER
(Serves 4) In a Large pitcher add and stir together . . .
Slice lemon. Peel and slice ginger. Put lemon and ginger in a quart-size mason jar. Fill with filtered water. Place in fridge for 24 hours (or so), strain and fill a glass 3/4 of the way full. Fill the final 1/4 of the way with sparkling water. Drink within one week.
