Benefits of Drinking Water for Weight Loss Is As Easy As 1-2-3

by Andrew Ciccone September 18, 2019

Drinking water plays a role in weight loss, including digestion and muscle function. Many studies show some positive correlation between increased water consumption and weight loss.

ONE: Water Is A Natural Appetite Suppressant - Drinking water is linked to reduced calorie intake and a lower risk of weight gain. Drinking water helps giving you a feeling of fullness, which aids in diminishing your hunger. A glass of water before meals and when you are hungry helps curb overeating.

TWO: Drinking Water Helps Burn Calories - Drinking enough water is essential for burning off fat from food and drink, as well as stored fat. An ice cold glass of water helps burn calories. The body expends energy (calories) by bringing the water to the level to digest. The body also burns calories while resting.

Water is a calorie-free alternative to drinking soda, juice, or sweetened coffee or tea. Replacing even a few high-calorie drinks each day for water or other no-calorie beverages, such as herbal tea, may have long-term weight loss benefits.

One of the most important components of any weight loss plan is exercise. Always drink water before, during, and after exercise to avoid dehydration. Water helps muscles, connective tissues, and joints to move correctly. It also helps the lungs, heart, and other organs to work effectively as they ramp up activity during exercise.

THREE: Water Helps Remove Waste From The Body

Water helps the kidneys to filter toxins and waste while the organ retains essential nutrients and electrolytes. When the body is dehydrated, the kidneys retain fluid and cannot remove waste as urine or feces. Water keeps waste moving by softening or loosening hardened stools which causes constipationWater also helps the body recover from digestive problems, such as diarrhea and indigestion.

Staying hydrated is a good way to avoid retaining waste, which may add a few extra pounds. Without water, the body cannot properly metabolize stored fat or carbohydrates.

The VitaJuwel Grande Gem Water Dispenser Set is a powerful tool for providing healthier, more powerful, more hydrating water with the power of gems. Gemstones naturally vibrate at a frequency that restructures or ‘wake up’ water boosting Its alkalinity and Increasing Its oxygenation.

There is no standard recommendation for how much water to drink. Some people require more or less water, depending on a variety of factors, including:

  • activity level
  • age
  • body size
  • temperature
  • humidity
  • sun exposure
  • health status

The following tips can help to increase water intake:

  • drinking at least one 8-ounce glass of water with each meal
  • carrying water in a reusable water bottle
  • drinking extra water when exercising or during physical activity
  • drinking extra water when it is warm, humid, or very sunny
  • keeping a glass of water near the bed
  • eating more liquid-rich meals such as fruits and vegetables

Drinking water to lose weight doesn’t need to be hard work!  Infuse your water with flavor by adding fruit or fresh mint. Drinking water is one of the best  things you can do to live a healthier life and lose weight. Water and weight loss go hand in hand. You’ll feel better and you will look amazing!
