by Leslie Gabriel November 12, 2016

In part of their ongoing efforts to transform the human relationship to water and pointing to the need to be proactive, WaterCheck.biz announced their latest initiative - The Campaign For Water Protection.

The Campaign For Water Protection (#WaterProtection) will bring together water leaders and community members to learn how to protect, understand and even love water.

The Campaign For Water Protection will kick off in January 2017. The campaign will begin as town hall roundtable meetings up and down the Hudson Valley. The campaign is expected it to grow into a cultural events and celebrations to touch move and inspire people to truly take action to protect water.

The Hudson Valley Region of NY has been facing many water issues recently - including ...

Water supplies found with toxic Chromium 6

“Bomb trains” of non-reinforced tanker cars that are carrying highly volatile crude oil fracked from the Bakken shale beds in North Dakota to New York State

The Algonquin (AIM) Pipeline proposing a gas pipeline 105 feet from the dangerous, aging Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant

Municipal water supply of Newburgh and private wells in New Windsor tainted with toxic PFOAs

"We are creating the Campaign For Water Protection as a way to be proactive in finding ways to focus, understand and share ideas on how to protect the water supplies we count on for our lives - before a crisis hits. Our action or inaction around protecting water will decide the fate of our most important resource," added Mr Gabriel.

Look for upcoming announcements and events in your area about how you can help protect water.
