Who ever said film festivals have to be dry? World Water Day is March 22, 2009. Its been going on for 15 years, declared in 1993 by the United Nations. This year there are a couple of Film Festivals dedicated to water. First, there is the WaterMan's World Water Day Film Fest in Great Barrington, MA on March 22, 2009. Here are the particulars ... 1) Whale Rider 2) Flow For The Love Of Water and ... 3) The Titanic.
Guest speakers include William Marks, author of Holy Order Of Water & Water Voices. William is a true water pioneer and a world leader in the H2O movement.

Funds will support WBCR-LP 97.7 FM in Great Barrington. WBCR airs the world's only H2O radio show - "And So It Flows"
Then there is the DC Environmental Film Fest which already started - with a special World Water Day Tribute. They have lots of films showing. Bottom line, movies can be moist and can be a great way to evolve our collective water consciousness. What are your favorite water films?
